I’m a multi-faceted designer engaged in textiles, interiors and photography. I believe the creative life means learning to be flexible, open and ready to fall (and then rise again). This is my journal of my KUFRI life… a blog about textiles, interiors, styling and inspirational discoveries along the way. Welcome!

For those of you curious about the where, when, why and how, read on…

I moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1998 to attend Texas Christian University and graduated in 2002. Looking back, I don’t know how I packed my whole life in two suitcases and headed here without knowing a single person, but I’m glad I did it. I was born in Bombay, India and grew up in Oman (a 3-hour drive from Dubai) and have been in Texas for nearly 2 decades.

Growing up in the Middle East gave me the arsenal I needed to ignite my design curiosities. Besides having friends from all over the globe, I also had easy travel access to amazing countries and access to foods and goods from Europe and Asia.

Today, I lead a very full, creative life, running KUFRI and doing other design and photography projects as time permits.

– Creatively, Mili Suleman  xoxo
